Krabi is a town on the west coast of Southern Thailand at the mouth of the Krabi River where it empties into the Andaman Sea.It is situated in the province of Krabi and district of Krabi.Krabi has a beautiful and rugged coastline with numerous unspoilt beaches and coves and is host to some of the most beautiful beaches in Thailand most notably Ao Nang,Railay and Noppharat beaches.Krabi's coastline is hugged by a multitude of uninhabited islands offering visitors the chance to witness some breathtaking natural scenery.The main town and sea front offer various restaurants,entertainment venues and hotels for the visiting traveller.Krabi province is a mixture of Thai-Buddhist and Thai-Islamic religions which ensures that religious festivals and celebrations are a regular occurence.Krabi is best visited between the months of November-April with the May-October period bringing the raining season.
