Fishing for Barramundi near Bangkok Thailand – 18 01 2009
Calvin Tan a returning client and friend from Singapore visited the Barramundi fishing ponds in near Bangkok.
Calvin fished at various ponds on the complex and used a variety of lures throughout the day.
The Singapore angler and Barramundi ponds veteran caught consistently throughout the day catching numerous Barramundi between 3-6kg’s.
Continually changing his lure presentations saw Calvin continuing to catch fish from each pond with the highly aggressive and acrobatic Barramundi slamming into the angler’s lures.
Calvin’s girlfriend also got in on the action catching some quality Barramundi on the lure with fish to 5.5kg’s.
Throughout the day Calvin damaged several lures due to the sheer aggression of the hard fighting Barramundi repeatedly attacking his lures.
Rapala’s and top water Poppers were the angler’s lures of choice accounting for a forty fish capture between Calvin and his girlfriend in a short six hour Barramundi fishing session.
