Massive Mekong Catfish captured fishing in Bangkok. – 11 10 2008
The Fishsiam team visited Bungsamran Lake in Bangkok in search of monster catfish.
Jeab and Tong fished from the public bank using sliding float set-ups and casting to the central section of the lake.
After catching numerous Mekong Catfish a much larger fish picked up Jeab’s hookbait.
After an epic battle of over one hour the fish was finally netted by Tong.
With a gigantic girth the fish was clearly a monster and was estimated to weigh 50kg’s+
