IT Monster Lake Predator fishing trip – 01 11 2008
Francis and the Kaki team from Singapore traveled to Ratchaburi in search of predators.
Joined by Boy at the highly prolific IT Monster Lake the anglers began the day lure fishing with surface lures/poppers and diving plugs.
Francis caught several Alligator Gar in addition to Pacu and Asian Redtail Catfish whilst lure fishing in the early hours of the fishing session.
A change over to deadbaits in the afternoon saw the anglers steadily catching big fish with some quality Redtail Catfish being caught to 30kg’s.
Fishing to heavily prebaited marginal areas the anglers captured numerous predatory species with a few small Arapaima being caught to 20kg’s.
At the end of the days predator fishing the Singaporean anglers had amassed a thirty fish haul consisting of a mixed bag of predatory species with weights to 30kg+
