Emma wound down into the Giant freshwater stingray and was met by a solid resistance as battle commenced.
The angler played the stingray for quite some time giving the impression of a rather large fish.
Unfortunately the hook pulled almost an hour into the fight.
After repositioning baits the anglers soon were attached to another Stingray.
The Giant freshwater stingray was soon beaten by the heavy stingray fishing and soon the anglers were at the riverside photographing a stunning Giant freshwater stingray of an estimated 60kg’s.
Later in the afternoon the Norweigan anglers were once again attached to another Giant freshwater stingray which turned out to be a small juvenile of an estimated 20kg’s which was easily overwhelmed by the heavy stingray fishing gear.
With three fish landed fishing Maeklong River a monster Giant freshwater stingray being lost after almost an hour the days stingray fishing ended
